This is the real deal. I remember eating Italian beef and polish sausage as a kid in Chicago. Tastes just like memories! I randomly found this place on a Google search and I'm glad I did. Food is delish and the owners are incredibly kind. I requested this as my last meal before heading back to Japan. Thanks to Baby Al's for filling up my belly 😊

If I could give 100 starts I would! Not only is the food amazing the owner T.L. is genuinely and outstanding man. I caught a flat outside the store and I was waiting on my brother to come help. T.L. came out after they closed and helped us replace my tire before going back in to finish closing up! It was a bit of a struggle (only bc of my old rusty car, not them. They were both fully capable of replacing a tire lol) and it took almost a hour but they didn’t give up and got me back on the road. I can’t thank him enough. He has a forever customer in me and I’m gonna share with everyone I know. Great food and service!

While I was there when it was slow, that does not mean the food is fast. Each main is cooked to order while you wait. I had the Maxwell Street Polish, naked, as in no bun, no condiments, just the meat grilled. Worth the wait but would be more my style on a char grill instead of a flat grill. Pricey and worth it.
